Informations sur le produit
- 3,5-Dibromosalycyladoxime
3,5-Dibromosalicylaldoxime is a bifunctional reagent that is used for the photochemical synthesis of enantiomerically pure 3-bromo-2-(hydroxymethyl)salicylic acid. It is formed by reacting salicylaldehyde with 3,5-dibromoiodobenzene. The crystal structure of 3,5-dibromosalicylaldoxime has been determined and found to be a dimer. Hydrogen bonding interactions are observed between two molecules in the dimer, with one molecule acting as an acceptor and the other as an donor.
