Description :6-Bromo-7-methylquinoxaline is a halogenated aromatic compound that can be used as an oxidizing agent. It reacts with the methyl group of dimethylbenzene to form a chlorinated product. 6-Bromo-7-methylquinoxaline also reacts with bisulphite to form peracetic acid. This chemical may also be used in the synthesis of quinoxalines by reacting with diamino.
