2-Chloro-4-(1-piperidinomethyl)pyridine is a chlorination agent that is used in the manufacture of medicines and agrochemicals. It is an inorganic compound that is used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. 2-Chloro-4-(1-piperidinomethyl)pyridine has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of gastric acid secretion and pepsin activity.
