Description :PQ401 is a collagen gel that has been shown to improve the metabolic rate of cancer cells. PQ401 is a synthetic peptide with anti-cancer properties that inhibits the production of fatty acids and IGF-I, which are required for cell proliferation. PQ401 has been shown to inhibit the growth of squamous carcinoma and carcinoma cell lines in vitro. This drug also inhibits the growth of galleria mellonella larvae, an insect model system for skin cancer. PQ401 has also been shown to inhibit tyrosine kinase domain proteins in adrenocortical carcinoma cells.
