Description

RO9021 is a novel, orally bioavailable, small-molecule CDK4/6 inhibitor that blocks the cell cycle at G2/M phase. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of cancer stem cells in vitro and in vivo. RO9021 inhibits the growth of human CD4+ T cells in a dose-dependent manner and is active against autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. This drug also has anti-inflammatory effects on lung fibroblasts and can inhibit inflammatory responses by inhibiting toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathways.
