- hydrochloride
3-[(Benzyl)amino]-4-(cyclohexylamino)-N-[2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethyl]benzenesulfonamide monohydrochloride is an Ion channel activator. It is a potent and selective inhibitor of voltage-gated potassium channels, including Kv1.5 channels, which are activated by the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. 3-[(Benzyl)amino]-4-(cyclohexylamino)-N-[2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethyl]benzenesulfonamide monohydrochloride binds to the pore region of the Kv1.5 channel and blocks the channel from opening in response to acetylcholine. This inhibition prevents muscle contraction and is used to study ion channels and their role in diseases such as epilepsy or cancer. 3-[(Benzyl)amino]-4-(cyclohexylamino)-N
