Description

Isopropyl Linoleate is a type of fatty acid that has been extracted from the seed oil of the carthamus tinctorius plant. The methyl myristate group is a fatty acid ester that is used as an absorption enhancer in diagnostic agents and detergent compositions. Isopropyl Linoleate has also been shown to be a low-energy fuel in the production of biodiesel. It has shown to have anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, which can be helpful for treating infection and cancer. Isopropyl Linoleate may also have anticancer activity due to its ability to inhibit tumor growth and proliferation by inhibiting protein synthesis and cell division.
