Description

Danshenxinkun A is a natural drug that has been used in China for centuries. It is extracted from the roots of Salvia miltiorrhizae and Pueraria lobata, two plants that are used as traditional Chinese medicines. Danshenxinkun A has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and inhibit gsh-px activities in vitro. In studies involving an experimental model, Danshenxinkun A has been shown to reduce the size of myocardial infarcts and improve cardiac function. The drug also inhibits tumor cell growth in some carcinoma cell lines.
