Kaempferol 3-O-neohesperidoside is a flavonoid glycoside that belongs to the group of flavonoid derivatives. It has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis in HepG2 cells and has been found to be cytotoxic to leukemia cells. Kaempferol 3-O-neohesperidoside has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on acetate extract uptake by hepg2 cells. The activity of the compound can be explained by its ability to bind with proteins, which may lead to a decrease in the uptake of acetate extract by hepg2 cells. Kaempferol 3-O-neohesperidoside also inhibits tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) production in leukemia cells via its antioxidant properties.
