4,6-Dibromo-1H-indazole is an anti-cancer drug that inhibits the growth of solid tumours by inhibiting the production of angiogenic factors. This binding blocks the activity of these cells, which reduces inflammation and slows down the progression of disease. 4,6-Dibromo-1H-indazole has been shown to have antiangiogenic properties that inhibit new blood vessel formation in cancerous tissues. This drug may also be useful for treating inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis because it reduces inflammation.
