Description

Pactamycin is a natural product that has been isolated from the fungus and plant source. It is a secondary metabolite with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, and Streptococcus pneumoniae. Pactamycin is also an effective antifungal agent against Candida albicans. Pactamycin is obtained as a white powder and can be used for quality control, reference material, research and development, or screening purposes.
