Description

Vercirnon is a peptide that belongs to the group of drugs called ion channel activators. The drug targets the voltage-gated potassium channels, which are responsible for regulating the flow of potassium ions in and out of cells. Vercirnon has been shown to activate these channels by binding to the receptor site on the protein, thereby opening it and allowing ions to pass through.
