Description :(-)-N 0425 Hydrochloride is a peptide inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the proteases and proteinases of the matrix metalloproteinase family. It binds to the active site of these enzymes, blocking the cleavage of substrates, which are proteins that are being degraded by proteolysis. (-)-N 0425 Hydrochloride is also an activator of the L-type voltage-gated calcium channel (L-VGCC) and a ligand for nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.
