TyK2-IN-2 is a microtubule inhibitor that binds to the tubulin subunit of microtubules and inhibits their assembly. TyK2-IN-2 has been shown to bind to the fingerprints of cellular targets and can be used as a medicinal tool for validation, monitoring, and chemotype profiling in cells. Binding assays have been developed for use in detecting binding interactions with proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, drugs, and other compounds. These assays are also able to identify tyrosine kinase 2 inhibitors that bind to the target protein. The ability to monitor binding interactions at a high level of detail has enabled biologists to better understand the biology of cells by examining binding interactions between proteins and other molecules.
