Description

Avocadene acetate is a synthetic ligand that is used as a research tool to study protein interactions, receptor activation, and ion channels. Avocadene acetate binds to the calcium-sensing receptor, which is a G-protein coupled receptor found on the surface of cells. It has been shown to activate this receptor and induce calcium release from intracellular stores.
