Description

Elafibranor is a peptide that is a research tool for the study of protein interactions, receptor ligands and ion channels. Elafibranor is an activator of the G-protein coupled receptor TLR4 and can be used to identify ligands for this receptor. It also inhibits the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) and calcineurin, which are important enzymes in signaling pathways. Elafibranor has been shown to inhibit the activation of NF-κB by TNFα and IL-1β, which are inflammatory cytokines.
