Description

(1R,5S)-1-(2-Naphthyl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane is a crystalline polymorph that has been shown to have pharmacological treatment for cardiac arrhythmias and/or cardiac disease in humans and animals as well as diagnostic properties for cancer. It is also used to study the mechanism of action of drugs on the heart and how these drugs are metabolized by cyp3a4 and CYP2C9 enzymes. The compound has been found to be safe in clinical studies with no adverse effects observed at therapeutic doses. (1R,5S)-1-(2-Naphthyl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane is a potent inhibitor of human CYP2C9 enzyme, but does not inhibit CYP3A4 activity at therapeutic doses.
