CAS :
Hydrobromic acid is a highly corrosive, toxic and irritating liquid. It reacts with water (H2O) to form hydrobromic acid and hydrogen fluoride gas. Hydrobromic acid is a weak acid that can be used as an oxidizing agent in organic syntheses. The reaction solution formed when hydrobromic acid is added to water has been shown to have cell factor activity in vitro. In vivo human studies have determined that this reaction solution has a phase transition temperature of about -6°C. The anhydrous sodium salt of hydrobromic acid can also be prepared by reacting hydrogen bromide with anhydrous sodium hydroxide at 100°C in the presence of sulfur dioxide gas.
Formule :HBrDegré de pureté :(Titration) Min. 48%Couleur et forme :Clear LiquidMasse moléculaire :80.91 g/molHydrobromic acid, 33% in Acetic Acid
