Applications 2-(Bromomethyl)-1,4-dimethoxynaphthalene is an intermediate in the synthesis of 2-[[(Methylsulfonyl)thio]methyl]-1,4-naphthoquinone (M329455), which is a derivative of Vitamin K3 (V676130); a precursor to various types of Vitamin K. Also used as a micronutrient for livestock and pet foods.
