Applications 17-O-tert-Butyldimethylsilyl-11-hydrocortisone is an intermediate in the synthesis of 18-Hydroxycortiso whichl is a derivative of Cortisol (H714615), frequently referred to as the “stress hormone”, is released into the bloodstream during periods of stress. Cortisol also has effects on enhancing memory with regards to emotions during stressful events.
