Applications Dehydro Epiandrosterone is a major secretory steroidal product of the adrenal gland; secretion progresively declines with aging. May have estrogen-or androgen-like effects depending on the hormonal milieu. Intracellularly converted to androstenedione. It is used in treatment of menopausal syndrome.
