Chlorodenafil

Chlorodenafil is an analog of tadalafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The safety and efficacy of chlorodenafil have not been established. This drug is not recommended for use by patients with severe hepatic impairment or those who are taking medicines that inhibit CYP3A4. Chlorodenafil should not be used with other PDE-5 inhibitors, such as sildenafil and vardenafil, because this can lead to a serious decrease in blood pressure.
Chlorodenafil has been investigated for its possible role in the treatment of dyslipidemia and insulin resistance; however, it has not been approved for these indications.
