    Applications MCOPPB Trihydrochloride is the most potent novel non-peptide NOP full agonist in vitro and an orally potent anxiolytic in the mice. It is the most potent, non-peptide NOP full agonists in vitro and a potent anxiolytic in the mice. It inhibited signaling through the NOP receptor in the mouse brain, suggesting that it penetrated into the brain after it was orally administered. It did not affect locomotor activity or memory, nor did it contribute to ethanol-induced hypnosis.

    MCOPPB is a novel analgesic that has been shown to have antinociceptive properties in vivo. This compound has also been shown to have an effect on locomotor activity, as well as analgesic effects in chronic neuropathic pain models. MCOPPB is a novel chemical entity and acts at the μ-opioid receptor, which is different from other known opioids. The clinical data for this drug show that it has potential for the treatment of chronic pain syndromes, such as neuropathic pain. MCOPPB also has an agonistic effect on the δ-opioid receptor, which may be responsible for its ability to reduce pain hypersensitivity.
