Tunicamicina è un antibiotico nucleosidico noto principalmente per la sua capacità di inibire la glicosilazione N-legata nelle cellule eucariotiche. È prodotto dal batterio *Streptomyces lysosuperificus* ed è caratterizzato dalla sua struttura complessa, che include una porzione di zucchero e uno zucchero amminico. Tunicamicina agisce interferendo con la sintesi delle glicoproteine, il che può portare a vari effetti cellulari, inclusa l'apoptosi in alcuni tipi di cellule.
