Quetiapina è un farmaco antipsicotico atipico utilizzato principalmente per trattare la schizofrenia, il disturbo bipolare e il disturbo depressivo maggiore. Funziona modulando vari sistemi di neurotrasmettitori nel cervello, in particolare antagonizzando i recettori della dopamina D2 e della serotonina 5-HT2A, il che aiuta ad alleviare i sintomi di psicosi e disturbi dell'umore.
