Cyclohexyl 2-aminoacetate hydrochloride is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that belongs to the group of cyclic amp inhibitors. It is an optical isomer and its structure includes a pyrrolidinyl, sulfur, alkoxy group, and cycloalkyl ring. Cyclohexyl 2-aminoacetate hydrochloride has been shown to have inotropic effects in animals by increasing the force of contraction of the heart. It has also been found to be antithrombotic in animals with experimentally induced thrombosis. Cyclohexyl 2-aminoacetate hydrochloride can be used as an optical isomer for the production of other compounds with similar structures.
