Br-DIF-1 is a bone cancer drug that has been shown to be an effective antimicrobial peptide against a number of bacteria. It also has inhibitory activities against tumor cells, including leukemia k562 cells. Br-DIF-1 inhibits the proliferation of these cells by binding to the progesterone receptor and estrogen receptors, which are involved in cell growth and differentiation. Br-DIF-1 is also able to block the prognosis of cancer cells by inhibiting their ability to divide.
