Descrizione: Cloridrato di tris(idrossimetil)aminometano, comunemente noto come cloruro di Tris, è una polvere cristallina bianca altamente solubile in acqua. È un agente tampone ampiamente utilizzato in biochimica e biologia molecolare per mantenere un pH stabile in varie reazioni biologiche e chimiche. Il composto presenta tre gruppi idrossimetil legati a un gruppo amminico, il che contribuisce alla sua capacità di tamponamento, in particolare nell'intervallo di pH fisiologico. Il cloruro di Tris è spesso utilizzato nella preparazione di tamponi per elettroforesi, coltura cellulare e saggi enzimatici.
