Bromidrato di destrometorfano è un composto sintetico utilizzato principalmente come soppressore della tosse nei farmaci da banco. È un derivato oppioide, specificamente un morfinano, ma non possiede le proprietà analgesiche tipiche degli oppioidi. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a drug that has been used to treat cough and cold symptoms. It is also an NMDA receptor antagonist, which blocks the activity of the NMDA receptor.
