Testosterone 17-phenylpropionate is an ester of testosterone with the chemical name of testosterone 17-phenylpropionate. This drug is a synthetic androgen that is used for the treatment of male hypogonadism, delayed puberty, and breast cancer in women. Testosterone 17-phenylpropionate has been shown to have similar effects as other forms of testosterone, including increasing protein synthesis and reducing protein degradation. It also increases blood levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, which may help protect against cardiovascular disease.
