Alectinib is a drug that inhibits the activity of tyrosine kinases, including ALK, ROS1, and MET. It binds to ATP-binding sites in the active site of these enzymes and prevents them from transferring phosphate groups onto their substrates. Alectinib also inhibits the activity of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in vitro by binding to DNA.
