Griseofulvina

Griseofulvina è un farmaco antifungino utilizzato principalmente per trattare le infezioni da dermatofiti, in particolare quelle che colpiscono la pelle, i capelli e le unghie. È derivato dalla muffa Penicillium griseofulvum e agisce inibendo la mitosi delle cellule fungine, impedendo così la crescita e la riproduzione dei funghi. Griseofulvina è caratterizzato dalla sua struttura cristallina ed è tipicamente somministrato per via orale. È poco solubile in acqua ma più solubile in solventi organici, il che influisce sulla sua assorbimento e biodisponibilità.
