3-Amino-4-(2,4,5-trifluorophenyl)butyric acid is a 6-membered ring with an azide group and a nitrogen atom. It is an inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV), which is involved in the breakdown of proteins. 3-Amino-4-(2,4,5-trifluorophenyl)butyric acid binds to the active site of DPPIV and blocks its access to the substrate.
