Verteporfina

Verteporfina è un agente fotosensibilizzante utilizzato principalmente nella terapia fotodinamica, in particolare per il trattamento della degenerazione maculare legata all'età e di alcuni tipi di cancro. Verteporfin is a drug that is used in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration. It is an organic compound that has two isomers, namely (S)- and (R)-verteporfin.
