Applications [1R-[1α(S*),2β(Z)]]-α-[[[3-Oxo-2-(2-pentenyl)cyclopentyl]acetyl]oxy]benzeneacetic Acid is an intermediate used in the synthesis of (-)-trans Jasmonic Acid (J210525), which is an enantiomer of trans-Jasmonic Acid (J210520) a major constituent of essential oil of Jasmine. Used by the fragrance industry. This product is a clear, colorless to very light yellow oil that adheres to the surface of the vial.
