Caolino

Caolino, noto anche come caolino, è un minerale di argilla che si trova naturalmente ed è composto principalmente da Caolinoite, un minerale di silicato a strati. Applications Kaolin has been shown to cause cavities in the spinal cord of dogs due to distention and subsequent rupture of the central canal. Kaolin is a negatively charged contaminant in water. Kaolin can reduce the lifespan of C. inanitus and S.cyanea, natural enemies found in olive orchards. This may be useful for organic farming.

Kaolin is a clay mineral that is used in the treatment of wastewater. It has high resistance to dissolution and adsorption, with an optimum concentration of about 20%. Kaolin is also used for the treatment of some diseases such as cancer. The matrix effect of kaolin can be seen from its ability to absorb water vapor, which prevents the evaporation of surface water and reduces the risk of flooding. Kaolin has been shown to have a protective effect on mitochondria by increasing mitochondrial membrane potential in breast cancer cells. The thermal expansion of kaolin is 1.5 times higher than zirconium oxide at room temperature.
