    <p>2-({[(9H-Fluoren-9-yl)methoxy]carbonyl}amino)-3-(thiophen-2-yl)propanoic acid is a potent inhibitor that binds to the epoxide hydroxyl group of phospholipase A2. It has been shown to interact with solid phase synthesis and synthetic methods for evaluation of epoxide hydroxylation reactions. This compound was synthesized using fmoc-gly-oh as the protecting group, which is then removed by transition metal catalyzed ligand exchange. 2-[(9H-fluoren-9-yl)methoxy]carbonylamino]-3-(thiophen-2-yl)propanoic acid can be used in the treatment of inflammatory conditions such as asthma or arthritis.</p>
