AMG 925 is an insoluble molecule that belongs to the class of synthetic intermediates. It is a ligand that targets the mucosal surface and can be used for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). In vitro studies have shown that AMG 925 has ablating effects on lung cells, which means it may be able to reduce or prevent IPF. The low solubility of AMG 925 limits its use in vivo.
