L'acido boroico 3-(trifluorometil)benzenico, noto anche come acido boroico 3-(trifluorometil)fenilico, è un composto organoboro caratterizzato dalla presenza di un gruppo funzionale acido boroico attaccato a un anello benzenico che ha un sostituente trifluorometil nella posizione meta. CAS:<p>3-(Trifluoromethyl)phenylboronic acid is a potent fatty acid that inhibits the release of TNF-α, a pro-inflammatory cytokine. 3-(Trifluoromethyl)phenylboronic acid binds to the p65 subunit of NF-κB, thereby preventing its activation. This limits the production of reactive oxygen species and neutrophil infiltration in response to LPS-induced lung injury. 3-(Trifluoromethyl)phenylboronic acid also has anti-inflammatory potential, inhibiting the activation of CRTH2 and reducing emissions from diesel engine exhausts.
