ML-243 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that binds to cancer stem cells and inhibits the proliferation of the target cell. It has been shown to have anti-cancer activity in vitro and in vivo. ML-243 has been shown to be effective in treating various types of cancer, such as leukemias, lymphomas, and solid tumours. ML-243 kills target cells by complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody dependent cell mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC). This drug also targets leukemia cells that have expressed CD38 or CD33 markers.
