1H-Pyrazole-3-sulfonamide is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug that belongs to the pyrazole class of compounds. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme carbonic anhydrase in vitro and in vivo. 1H-Pyrazole-3-sulfonamide can be used for the treatment of virus induced brain tumors, as well as other diseases caused by viruses such as HIV and herpes simplex. 1H-Pyrazole-3-sulfonamide also has inhibitory effects on target enzymes such as protein kinase C, phospholipase A2, and phospholipase C. In addition, it inhibits cell growth in cancer cells and may be a potential drug target for cancer treatments.
