3-(Ethanesulfonyl)pyridine is a synthetic chemical that has two reactive chlorine atoms and one reactive fluorine atom. This compound has a pyridine ring with an ethanesulfonyl group attached to it. The n-oxide of 3-(ethanesulfonyl)pyridine also exists, which is less reactive than the c1-c3 n-oxide form.
