FlAsH-EDT2
CAS:Prodotto controllatoApplications The Fluorescein Arsenical Hairpin Binder (FlAsH) method is presented for fluorescence labeling of proteins in living cells. Labeling proteins with the membrane-permeant fluorogenic biarsenical dye fluorescein arsenical hairpin binder-ethanedithiol (FlAsH-EDT2). The membrane-permeant fluorogenic biarsenicals FlAsH-EDT2 and ReAsH-EDT2 can be prepared in good yields by a straightforward two-step procedure from the inexpensive precursor dyes fluorescein and resorufin.

CAS:FlAsH-EDT2 is a red fluorescent dye that binds to calcium ions. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of wild-type herpes simplex virus, while not affecting the growth of recombinant viruses with mutated sequences. FlAsH-EDT2 binds to the kinase domain of soluble guanylate cyclase and inhibits its activity, thereby inhibiting cellular proliferation in response to extracellular growth factors. This inhibition can be reversed by removing excess calcium ions from the system. The binding of FlAsH-EDT2 to calcium ions also results in changes in electrophysiological properties.

CAS:FlAsH-EDT2 is a membrane-permeable fluorescent reagent that can label proteins. FlAsH-EDT2 can bind to CCXXCC motifs and nonspecific endogenous cysteine-rich proteins. FlAsH-EDT2 can only be used to label recombinant proteins that are expressed at very high levels.Formula:C24H18As2O5S4Purezza:98%Colore e forma:SolidPeso molecolare:664.5
