CAS:Razaxaban (also known as BMS-561389 or DPC 906) is an oral inhibitor of Factor Xa, initially developed for the treatment of thrombosis.Formula:C24H20F4N8O2Colore e forma:SolidPeso molecolare:528.46Razaxaban
CAS:Razaxaban is an organic solution that belongs to the class of inhibitors and binds to the active site of thrombin, which is a protein involved in blood clotting. It has been shown to be thermodynamically stable at high temperatures and is able to bind to the active site of thrombin with an affinity comparable to that of hirudin. Razaxaban inhibits blood coagulation by preventing conversion of fibrinogen into fibrin by inhibiting thrombin formation. This drug has been shown to be effective for the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and coronary artery disease. Razaxaban also has a good chemical stability in water and trifluoroacetic acid, which means it can be used as a chemical intermediate in pharmaceutical preparations or as an analytical reagent.
