CAS:Prodotto controllatoApplications 3-Bromopropionitrile acts as a reagent in the preparation of bisindole maleimide derivative useful as α-glucosidase inhibitors for the treatment of diabetesis. Also used in the study of the structure activity relations between alkyl nucleophilic chemicals causing duodenal ulcer and adrenocortical necrosis.

CAS:3-Bromopropanenitrile (3BP) is a small molecule that has been shown to have agonistic activity against the adipocyte receptor, adiponectin. The potential of 3BP to be used as an anti-diabetic drug has also been explored, in particular its ability to lower blood sugar levels by inhibiting gluconeogenesis and enhancing glucose uptake. 3BP is an acrylonitrile derivative that is synthesized by alkylation of propanenitrile with bromine. It was found to be a potent inhibitor of population growth in E. coli K12.Formula:C3H4BrNPurezza:Min. 95%Colore e forma:Colourless To Yellow LiquidPeso molecolare:133.97 g/mol
