The administration of 1-Palmitoyl-2-oleyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-(1,2 glycerol) Sodium Salt was investigated as an alternative treatment for entrapment of the vagina and cervix. It has been found to have high permeability and to be effective at inhibiting bacterial growth.
