Applications 1-Methyldibenzothiophene, is an alkyldibenzothiophene present in crude oil. Research concerning the biodegradation of Dibenzothiophene by different types of bacteria is a currently being carried out, as these bacteria have the ability to breakdown other harmful PAH’s as well. This may be used in removing spilled oil from marine and terrestrial environments.
Not a dangerous good if item is equal to or less than 1g/ml and there is less than 100g/ml in the package
