Hexasodium phytate

Hexasodium phytate is a low molecular weight, water-soluble, inorganic salt that is used as an ingredient in dental treatments. It inhibits the formation of cavities by forming a protective layer on tooth surfaces and preventing bacterial growth. Hexasodium phytate has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on sodium phytate and hydroxyapatite cross-linking reactions. It can be used as a diluent for other ingredients such as calcium phosphate, fluoride, and strontium chloride. Hexasodium phytate has also been shown to have oxidation resistance and suppressant properties.
