CAS:Hydroxy ipronidazole is an organic compound that has been used in some animal experiments. The residue from the evaporation of acetonitrile was found to be present in tissues and muscle tissue, which may be due to its use as a solvent for hexane. This compound is used for the synthesis of nitroimidazoles, which are used in devices such as ion-selective electrodes. Hydroxy ipronidazole is also used in the synthesis of linear range molecules, which are used for validation purposes. It has been shown to have acidic properties and regulatory properties with regard to nitroimidazoles.
