CAS:D-Ribose-2,3,4,5-13C4 is a complex carbohydrate with saccharide units. It is synthesized by the chemical modification of D-ribose. This product can be used to modify or methylate glucose and other carbohydrates. It has been shown to inhibit the formation of amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease, which may be due to its ability to reduce nitric oxide and reactive oxygen species levels.
